Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking a kindergarten through fifth grade music teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. Responsibilities of this position include:

· Helping students grow in faith through music

· Teaching vocal music skills identified through the state standards

· Planning and facilitating our school Christmas program

Our music instructor will be contracted for two

ONE HOUR A MONTH…..….

to clean God’s house??

We are planning to re-vamp the list of parishioners who volunteer as church cleaners. We have some extremely faithful people who donate one hour a month, on a specific Saturday (or Friday) to clean. Our hats are off to them!!

However, many of the ones who are on the list only now and then are not dependable, do not read the bulletin (where Patty never misses a week to post the cleaning angels), or who no longer wish to participate in this worthwhile project. It is very disheartening to be the one who always comes and ends up cleaning the whole church by themself.

With 4 or 5 people, it can be done in an hour.

If you could be able to help out with this worthwhile project and could volunteer one hour a month to clean the Master’s House, please call Patty (242-2174) and leave your name and number. If you would like to be a substitute, to be called when one of the regulars has a conflict, we have a need for you also.
